Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 2014), which will be conducted in February 2014. The AFCAT exam will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2014.

AFCAT is conducted by Indian Air Force for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying branch and Permanent/Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty branches and for female candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying.

Eligibility criteria for AFCAT 2014:

For flying branch:

Age of candidates should be 19 – 23 years as on 01 January 2015

Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers)

Candidates should have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE/B.Tech degree (Four year course together.

Important dates:

Last date for registration of online applications: January 12, 2014, Sunday

Date of AFCAT 2014: Sunday, February 23, 2014.
