The Indian Air force will conduct Air Force Common Admission Test 2014 (AFCAT 2014) on February 23, 2014.

AFCAT applications are invited from Male Indian citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in January 2014/July 2014 for Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty branches.

The courses will commence in January, 2015.

 Eligibility criteria:

Flying Branch (15 SSC Course)

Age: 19 to 23 years as on January 1, 2014

Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (Indian) is relax able up to 25 years

Educational qualifications: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
