The decision has been taken as the students and teachers require more time to study the subjects’ revised syllabus. Recently the syllabus has been upgraded to CBSE curriculum.
The HSC chemistry paper, which was slated for February 27, will now be held on March 26. The Biology paper has been postponed from March 4 to 17.
One of the two new dates is kept on a Sunday so that it does not clash with any other board exams.
It is expected that HSC results will be announced before June 5.
