The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education have changed the higher secondary school (HSC, std XII) examination dates for economics and maths.
The economics paper, which was scheduled on March 4, has been rescheduled to March 17. The examination will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The HSC examinations will commence on February 21. The board will upload the changes in the time-table on its website, http://www.msbshse.ac.in by February 28.
The decision has been taken as the students and teachers require more time to study the subjects’ revised syllabus. Recently the syllabus has been upgraded to CBSE curriculum.
The HSC chemistry paper, which was slated for February 27, will now be held on March 26. The Biology paper has been postponed from March 4 to 17.
It is expected that HSC results will be announced before June 5.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is a statutory and autonomous body established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965 (amended in 1977).
